Account Manager

Position: Accounts Manager (Lights Manufacturing)
Location: Sec-155, Greater Noida
Experience: 5-8 years

Job Summary

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the organization, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supervising the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
2. Budget Management:
• Assist in the preparation of the company's budget.
• Monitor and report on budgetary performance.
• Recommend adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
3. Accounting Operations:
• Oversee daily accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Supervise the accounting team and ensure they are adhering to internal controls.
4. Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and relevant laws.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods and ensure all audit requests are met.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing.
5. Cash Flow and Financial Strategy:
• Manage cash flow by tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Monitor and advise on the company's financial health and performance.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
6. Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are performed accurately.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
7. Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement within the financial processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
• Implement accounting best practices to ensure smooth financial operations.
8. Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries and reporting.
• Work with other departments to ensure that financial strategies align with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Other: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations.
• Experience with financial forecasting and risk management.
• Ability to create and present financial reports to senior leadership.
