Industrial Designer

Position: Industrial Designer (LED Lighting)
Location: Sec-155, Greater Noida
Experience: 8-10 years

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our team in the lighting industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing innovative, aesthetically appealing, and functional lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This role involves designing lighting products that balance form, function, and user experience while adhering to safety standards and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyse market trends, product usability, and customer needs

• Sketch initial design ideas and use computer-aided design (CAD) & Solid works software to create detailed design specifications

• Use Solid works software to design products and components

• Modify and refine designs using working models

• Collaborate with engineers, model makers, sales staff, and manufacturing professionals on product development

• Should have sound knowledge of materials, Machines or Tools for Fixture designing & die development

• Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical

• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget constraints

• Should have knowledge of technical documentation for design file creation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in industrial design, preferably within the lighting industry.
• Strong proficiency in 3D design software (SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainable design practices.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in product design, particularly within the lighting sector.
• Ability to think creatively while adhering to technical and production constraints.
• Knowledge of lighting technologies (LED, smart lighting systems, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
