Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Be a strategic business advisor to the Plant leadership regarding key organizational and management priorities and on all people matters critical for business operations and growth.
  • Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for a plant.
  • Understand Key business challenges and organization needs, communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and achieve results.
  • Development and execution of all human resource activities involving employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, training, and benefits administration according to government regulations and business objectives in plant
  • Work in close coordination with the plant IR specialist for effective functioning
  • Drive employee engagement for the business and work closely with Managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and profitability for the business.
  • Guide Administration Team in plant for an enhanced employee experience
  • Drive Employee engagement initiatives including employee connect programs, analyzing engagement survey results and preparation and execution of action plan
  • Benchmark and incorporate best practices, engagement in assessment and monitoring of training programs and facilitate regular follow-ups to ensure the completion of training goals.
  • Driving interventions for succession planning for critical role and facilitating career dialogues, chalking our career transition plan for all critical talent
  • Build a culture that values trust, engagement, innovation, leadership effectiveness and productivity.
  • Drive organizational culture in terms of management of diverse workforce by ensuring safe and inclusive workplace to all the associates especially women employee

Preferred candidate profile


  • MSW / MBA from Tier I or any other premium Indian or global B-Schools with 10 12 years of experience in Manufacturing organizations (US MNCs preferably in automotive industry)
  • Expert in India employment and labor law, contemporary IR practices and regulations to ensure smooth functioning of operations
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Handling multiple union and signed minimum three Wage Settlements
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect at all levels including senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of employment practice and statutory compliances.
  • Excellent team builder, go getter and team player and Strong analytical skills with an ability to lead complex decision making, a strong drive for superior performance, accuracy, and precision. S/he will be a strategic thinker coupled with operational execution and the ability to act as an enabling change agent.
  • Handling ISO Documentation - ISO 45001/ 14001 and TS 16949 (Lead Auditor)
