Events Manager - School (7-12 yrs)

THE ROLE

Events are a crucial part of Elpro International School's (EIS) brand identity. We're looking for an experienced Event Manager who can plan and organize dynamic and engaging events frequently to drive sufficient footfall converting into admissions and strengthen the institute's reputation, by and by.

The ideal candidate should be meticulous and organized, able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption.

THE OBJECTIVES

- Foster a fun filled and engaging environment with prospective students and parents through physical events

- Spread awareness on the USPs, Programs and New Initiatives carried out by the school

- Build strong ties with the venue partners (malls, housing societies, corporates, industrial parks etc.)

- Maximize participation across the target parent groups

- Ensure that events are compelling enough to generate adequate number of leads for the Admissions team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and project manage the end-to-end planning and execution of events with the objective of positioning Elrpo as a leader in the education sector.

- Create the Annual Event Plan including budget, schedule, venue, resources, vendors, partners etc.

- Build tie-ups and signoff agreements with venue partners like malls, housing societies, corporates, industrial parks etc.

- Instruct and guide the event management vendors, infrastructure vendors, emcees and various other partners to ensure a seamless event set-up and eventually move it to an auto mode

- Similarly, plan and delegate work among internal stakeholders that include Admission Counsellors, Parent Relationship Managers and Teachers

- Advertise the events through multiple offline and online channels

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience & Education

- 5-10 years of experience in organizing large scale events

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any stream

Behavioural Competencies

- Should be quick and agile to plan events frequently and derive the ROI

- Should be able to understand and comprehend the expectations from the management and achieve it

- Should be comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment

- Should be able to plan and execute events with many moving parts

- Should be self-driven and be able to achieve sufficient qualified footfalls.

- Should have a pleasing personality and excellent communication skills.
