Job Description:
- Role: Business HR Head
- Years of Experience: 15+ Years
- Reports to: Business Head
- Educational Requirements: PG/MBA in HR specialization or related field / General Management
- Specific Language Requirements: Should be able to converse in Telugu; while English is Business Language
Preferred Industry:
- Experience in managing highly skilled talent in a Research & Development environment (life sciences, Digital technology organizations) would be an added advantage.
- Talent with previous experience in EV Auto OE/Auto component/Solar sectors are preferred.
Roles Summary:
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Head - Business HR will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving HR strategies to align with organizational goals. This leader will focus on talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and fostering a culture of high performance and well-being.
The role demands strong leadership capabilities to collaborate with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive initiatives for attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent.
- Foster a positive work environment while maintaining harmonious employee relations.
Performance Management:
- Oversee and manage robust performance management systems to build a high-performance culture.
- Design and execute initiatives that enhance productivity and workforce efficiency.
Learning & Development:
- Assess skill gaps and implement targeted learning programs.
- Cultivate leadership pipelines and multi-generational workforce management strategies.
Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR):
- Maintain a balanced approach to ER and IR while effectively managing unionized environments.
- Handle long-term settlements (LTS) and foster positive labor relations.
Change Management:
- Lead HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including integration and cultural alignment.
- Drive organizational change initiatives with passion, honesty, and strategic insight.
Compliance & Legal:
- Ensure compliance with central and state employment laws.
- Stay updated on legislation to mitigate risks and support business continuity.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Promote DEI and foster an inclusive workplace that respects and celebrates cultural differences.
Workplace Well-being:
- Create a safe and healthy work environment, addressing physical and mental well-being.
HR Technology & Analytics:
- Leverage data analytics to anticipate trends, enhance decision-making, and measure HR's impact on business outcomes.
