Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

The Project Manager Officer (PMO) in the real estate sector will oversee the successful execution of real estate projects while supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) and other leadership teams in coordinating cross-functional efforts. The PMO will manage project operations, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure efficient and effective project execution. This individual will be pivotal in standardizing project management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and facilitating communication across departments. Additionally, the PMO will be responsible for preparing clear and concise PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Monitoring: Assist in the development and execution of project plans, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met. Monitor the project lifecycle, identifying any deviations and providing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Project Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and distribute regular project reports, providing status updates to the SVP and other key stakeholders. Maintain thorough project documentation, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • PowerPoint Presentations: Design and prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings, senior leadership briefings, and external stakeholder updates. These presentations will summarize project progress, key milestones, financials, and potential risks in an easily digestible format.
  • Resource Management: Work with project managers to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources, including personnel, contractors, and materials, for the efficient delivery of real estate projects.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and potential delays, implementing risk mitigation strategies and providing solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Standardizing Processes & Best Practices: Establish and enforce standardized project management processes, methodologies, and best practices across all projects to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the point of contact between project teams, internal departments (legal, finance, design, etc.), and external stakeholders (contractors, vendors, etc.) to ensure smooth project flow and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure that all projects adhere to local regulations, zoning laws, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement: Track the performance of ongoing projects using key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze results and provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiency enhancements across the project management function.
  • Training & Development: Support the development and training of team members by providing guidance on project management tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance the overall project management capabilities of the organization.
  • Project Documentation Management: Ensure that all project documentation, such as contracts, agreements, change orders, and design documents, are properly organized and stored for easy access and future reference.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Oversee the post-project evaluation process, conducting a review of completed projects to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA( Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field).
  • Experience: At least 5+years of experience in project management within the real estate, construction, or development sectors. Strong background in real estate development projects is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar).
    • Solid understanding of the real estate development process and associated challenges.
    • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint to create clear, professional, and engaging presentations for various audiences.
    • Ability to analyze complex project data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
