Job Description



  • Channel Sales Management:
  • Lead the strategy and execution of channel sales across Kolkata and the eastern zone.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with distributors, ensuring effective sales channels and strong network growth.
  • Drive channel sales to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Distributor Setup Network Expansion:
  • Identify potential new distributors in Kolkata and surrounding areas to expand market reach.
  • Coordinate the onboarding, training, and support for new distributors, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and sales goals.
  • Set up efficient distribution channels and ensure the timely delivery of products across multiple regions.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement strategies for growing distributor partnerships, enhancing their performance, and expanding product presence in key markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends, ensuring that sales strategies are relevant and effective.
  • Collaboration Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align distributor strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Provide inputs for marketing programs and promotional activities to drive distributor sales and brand visibility.
  • Oversee distributor performance by analyzing sales data and generating reports to assess performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key distributors, ensuring excellent service and support.
  • Resolve any channel issues, providing timely solutions to ensure distributor satisfaction.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Monitor the evolving market dynamics and adapt channel strategies to capture new opportunities within the electrical cable and conductor sector.
  • Support the launch of new products by ensuring effective distributor training and product knowledge sharing.
Skills:
  • Experience:
  • 4-7 years of prior experience in channel sales, distribution management, and B2B sales within the electrical cables, wires, or similar industries.
