Position Overview:

The Manager - Technical Solutions (Electrical & Instrumentation) will be responsible for providing technical leadership across the project life cycle, from the initial concept and design phase to the successful implementation of instrumentation systems. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical & instrumentation and control systems, along with expertise in project development, system integration, and lifecycle management. The Manager will work closely with engineering, procurement, project management, and operations teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions for environmental and industrial applications.

Role & responsibilities

Key Qualification:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in instrumentation systems design, implementation, and product life cycle management.
• (Desired) Past Track record of Site & Commissioning assistance
• Experience working on EPC & BOOT projects will be preferred
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Well-versed with functioning Scada & PLC (Certification Will add Weightage)
• Hands on experience in project execution on site, knowledge of project costing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
• Understanding on Key Deliverables like Load List, LT & HT SLD, Lightening Arrestor, Plant Lighting, Earthing Calculations, related BOQ, Instrument index, Cable tray layout, Technical Datasheets Instruments, Control Philosophies, Inquiry Generations I/O List, Instrument Hook Ups, Cable sizing calculation, etc
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and working with clients and vendors .

Project Life Cycle Management:

• Lead the development and implementation of instrumentation systems throughout the project life cycle, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
• Oversee the technical design, integration, and testing of instrumentation systems, ensuring they meet performance standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications, system architecture, and design parameters.

Technical Leadership and Support:

• Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal teams, clients, and partners on instrumentation solutions.
• Act as the key point of contact for all technical aspects of instrumentation systems, ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to instrumentation during design, installation, and operation phases.
