Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisory and Planning:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leader to identify and drive initiatives of strategic importance
- Analyze business performance, trends and the competitive landscape to provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making.
- Prepare business plans, presentations, and reports for leadership meetings, board discussions and other key forums.
Leadership Support and Prioritization:
- Support the leader to define and align their strategic priorities, ensuring focus on key initiatives that drive organizational goals.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the Group Director's time, managing meeting prioritization and ensuring they focus on high-impact activities.
- Review briefing materials, reports, and key deliverables from teams, offering recommendations and highlighting critical questions ahead of important meetings to ensure comprehensive preparation
Project Management:
- Lead and drive cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with the leader's strategic priorities.
- Foster collaboration and accountability across teams to ensure timely delivery of key projects.
- Proactively identify risks, anticipate roadblocks, and implement solutions to ensure successful execution.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison between the Group Director and senior leadership, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Monitor the flow of information to the leader, ensuring they are involved in critical projects and decisions.
Leadership Skills:
Strategic Partnership: Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management on high-priority projects, particularly within dynamic, high-growth environments.
Analytical Acumen: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify key business drivers, and derive actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively in presentations, discussions, and reports.
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS Office for business presentations and modelling in Excel
Proactive & Independent: Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment with minimal supervision while delivering results.
Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Full-time MBA Degree from a top-tier B-school.
- 4-8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Strategy Consulting with a leading international consulting firm
- Proven track record in high-level strategy development, business planning, financial analysis, feasibility studies, and market analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Prior experience in a similar advisory role to a CXO is highly desirable, with demonstrated ability to manage high-impact projects and initiatives with senior leaders
- International experience is a strong advantage, particularly in handling global projects across markets
