About the job:
The subject role would implement the Management's vision for achieving short- & long-term revenue goals of the organization by implementing strategic growth plans through new products.
The Head Business Development would understand industry trends and keep Management informed periodically to develop contemporary product strategies.
Skills Required:
- Developing high quality business strategies and revenue growth plans ensuring their alignment with short terms and long-term objectives of the Organization.
- Responsible for Business Development activities (Both New Business and Existing Business).
- Work closely with R&D to build new products with a proper "Voice of Customer", validation and build organization for Sales/ Product Support.
- Should be familiar with building sales collaterals like brochures, digital marketing, participation in relevant trade shows.
- The candidate should be familiar with Budgeting, generation of 3-year business plan and "Go to Market Strategies"
- Examine product portfolio and identify poor performing products/ business lines and develop business strategies for remedial measures.
- Exposure to branding and Marketing Communication is welcome.
- Must have handled both Channel and Direct Sales, Online tendering procedures and Government sector procurements.
- Should be able to devise suitable policies for Channel Sales and Product Support with proper benchmarking of industry practices.
- Must be able to develop matrices for Key account Management, Customer Relationship Management.
- Build robust sales process for new product verticals like enquiry funnel to sales forecast to order conversion.
- Should be familiar with Market Research studies for new products.
- Should have experience of handling technology agreements, trading agreements for import products and product export procedures from India.
Qualifications:
- Education : Master's degree in related field / Communication Engineering
- Experience as Head : Business Development in a reputed organization for at least 05 to 10 Years.
- Person should have a served as a PAN India Sales Head for minimum 5 years with P&L responsibility.
- He should have exposure Business Development.
- Area of Expertise : B2G, B2B
- Industries : Industrial products & EV products like VFD, Inverters, EV Charger, Smart Meters etc.
- Preferred Industry : Engineering Industry.
Age : 40 to 50 Years.
Years of Experience : 20 - 25 Years.
