Role & responsibilities


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Sales Manager to lead and drive sales efforts in the Mumbai division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling heavy equipment, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the B2B sales process.



Preferred candidate profile:


Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Mumbai division.
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals and objectives.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Identify and approach potential clients, including corporate entities, industrial sectors, and construction companies.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of heavy equipment to prospective clients.

Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
    • Provide regular training and guidance to enhance the teams product knowledge and sales skills.

Negotiation and Deal Closure:

    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during the sales process.

Performance Monitoring:

    • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
    • Coordinate with the operations and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.



Perks and benefits

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in selling heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mumbai market and industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
