About the Role:
The Head - D2C Sales (India) will lead the brand's direct-to-consumer strategy, driving growth through owned e-commerce, marketplace partnerships, and offline experiential activations. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building premium consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- D2C Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a robust D2C sales plan, focusing on website growth, customer retention, and digital-first consumer engagement.
- E-commerce & Website Optimization: Enhance website performance, checkout experiences, and subscription models to drive conversions and repeat purchases.
- Performance & Digital Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaigns across SEO, paid media, influencer collaborations, and community-driven storytelling.
- Experiential & Offline Activations: Plan and execute pop-ups, tasting events, and collaborations with premium retail and lifestyle spaces to boost brand awareness.
- Shopify & Tech Integration: Leverage Shopify and relevant plugins to scale online sales and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Consumer Insights & Brand Loyalty: Analyze consumer behavior, gather feedback, and refine product offerings to improve customer satisfaction.
- Revenue & P&L Ownership: Take complete ownership of D2C sales revenue, pricing strategy, and profitability.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years in D2C sales, growth, or e-commerce, preferably in premium F&B, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
- Digital & E-commerce Expertise: Strong knowledge of Shopify, performance marketing, conversion rate optimization, and digital sales funnels.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to build and scale a brand's D2C footprint from scratch in a dynamic startup environment.
- Strategic & Execution Focused: Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive revenue growth.
- Passion for Purpose-Driven Brands: Alignment with sustainability, ethical sourcing, and community impact values.
