Looking for a Business Head to lead Sales, Distribution, and Category Management for a fast-growing consumer brand in the smart wearables and connected devices space. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, optimizing pricing strategies, and expanding market presence across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, distribution strategy, category management, and P&L ownership within a high-growth consumer sector
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Distribution Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Strengthen and expand distribution networks across offline and online channels
- Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion strategies across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities
2. Category & Pricing Management
- Own the product portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences
- Drive pricing, promotions, and discounting strategies to optimize margins and sales velocity
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance product positioning and drive customer demand
- Work closely with R&D and product teams to align future product roadmaps with business needs
3. Revenue Growth & Profitability
- Take ownership of P&L management, ensuring sustainable growth across channels
- Implement strategies to increase Average Order Value (AOV), upsell, and improve LTV
- Leverage data analytics to track sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends
- Optimize supply chain efficiencies in collaboration with operations teams
4. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead a high-performing sales and category team, driving execution excellence
- Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless business execution
Key Requirements :
- 7-10+ years of experience in sales, distribution, and category management, preferably in consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail
- Proven track record of scaling businesses, managing P&L, and driving revenue growth
- Expertise in pricing, promotions, and competitive market analysis
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales analytics and forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
