Key Responsibilities:
Investment & Portfolio Management
- Oversee and manage a family office portfolio worth - 400-1000+ crores, ensuring optimal asset allocation across multiple investment classes.
- Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to the family's financial goals, risk appetite, and market conditions.
- Conduct detailed analysis and performance evaluation of the existing portfolio, ensuring real-time risk mitigation and rebalancing.
- Provide comprehensive investment reports, MIS, and financial dashboards for informed decision-making.
Asset Classes & Deal Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in equities, fixed income, private equity, venture capital, real estate, alternative assets, and structured products.
- Source and structure large investment deals in private markets, leveraging deep industry networks.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and market research.
- Stay ahead of emerging investment trends and bring a multi-investment perception to portfolio diversification.
Relationship Management & Industry Networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private banks, investment firms, fund managers, and industry leaders for exclusive investment opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the family office, providing insights on macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and investment risks.
- Negotiate and structure high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and high ROI.
Research & Strategic Planning
- Lead research initiatives to identify high-growth investment avenues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and legal frameworks while structuring investments.
- Stay updated on global and domestic financial markets and provide data-driven recommendations.
Key Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- If from a technology background, Master's in Finance is mandatory.
- CFA/CAIA/FRM certifications are a plus.
Work Experience
- 4-5 years of experience in managing UHNI/HNI portfolios or family office investments.
- Must have managed portfolios worth a minimum of - 400-500 crores, with a preference for those handling - 1000+ crores.
- Experience in private banking, wealth management, or a top-tier family office is highly preferred.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of asset classes: equities, bonds, private equity, real estate, alternative investments, and structured finance.
- Proven track record in large deal-making, fundraising, and investment structuring.
- Excellent financial modeling, due diligence, and research capabilities.
- Expertise in portfolio consolidation, performance tracking, and MIS reporting.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to identify high-return investments.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a well-established network in the investment industry.
Preferred Background:
- Prior experience in top-tier private banks, wealth management firms, or family offices.
- Exposure to multi-asset investment strategies and private market deal execution.
- Strong understanding of risk management, financial structuring, and regulatory compliance.
