Manager- Design & Engineering (Nest-In)

· Feasibility checks for projects, along with identifying & highlighting technical risks

· Ensure Pre-order & Post Order Design & Engineering (D&E) deliverables meet SLA targets.

· Checking of Client Inputs, tender documents, architectural & other input drawings & information, interface coordination

· Understanding the Site Contour Layout and accordingly able to setup the Site levelling

· Understanding and interpretation of Soil Investigation reports and suggest suitable substructures design & detailing.

· Prepare technical specifications, design basis report (DBR). Perform structural designs, design & drawings checking, BOM, BOQ, costing with code compliance, customer requirements along with Structural stability requirements.

· Design, design & drawings checking, BOM, BOQ, costing of Civil works in the project including Infrastructure and substructure work including such as Roads, Drainage systems, Sewer, and water systems.

· Design, design & drawings checking of RCC Structural system (like, Framed structure, foundation of all types for buildings, factories & equipment's, retaining walls, flat slab system, post tensioned structures), Ductile design & detailing, soil and water Retaining structures such as underground tanks, Retaining wall structures, STP/ETP.

· Ensure the Quantities and costing well within the Pre order stage. Provide BOQ/Costing for the additional scope during the Post order stage.

· Coordination with multiple disciplines for ensuring inter-departmental checks.

· Developing & Checking the GFC drawing and release of BOM/BOQ

· Co-ordinate with internal & external stakeholders (customer, architect, sales,

· estimation, project planning, project execution, production, etc) for D&E activities.

· Coordination with vendor partners for the quality and delivery of the drawings, deliverables as per the schedule and requirements.

· Developing SOP's, specifications, standard details, manuals, vendor partners. Conduct training to Inhouse engineers and vendor engineering teams.

Experience of prefab Light gauge steel structure/ PEB/ Structural steel and modular steel (with Sheetmetal) structural detailing, checking, coordination and vendor partners development & management experience.

Technical Competencies

· AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, RCDC, STAAD FOUNDATION. SAP 2000- Would be an added advantage.
