Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accounting and Auditing (FAA) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing, financial analysis, and compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure the integrity of financial operations and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and audit programs.
• Evaluate financial statements and records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and report on areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls.
• Collaborate with management to develop action plans for addressing audit findings and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the audit committee.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial auditing.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to junior audit staff as needed.
• Should be conversant in Stores Operations and Industrial Relation (IR) functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and ICWAI/CMA. A professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CIA is preferred.
• 5-6 years of experience in financial accounting and auditing, with a focus on internal audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in using audit software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
