Estimation & Proposal Engineer

Sl Position Years of Experience Accountable Responsibilities Job Requirements (Specific) 1 Civil Estimator (Engineer) 5-12 for preparation of accurate cost estimates and meet the Project Objectives & Strategies. 1. Review of Tender documents to understand discipline technical scope of work.
2. Co-ordinate with Engineering departments for MTOs, BOQs and MRs
3. Prepare and present analysis of work quantities to discipline lead and proposal manager
4. Participate in Site visits and identify critical aspects of execution.
5. Prepare first principle resource and cost estimates [Bottom up estimation] for various items of construction work.
6. Prepare Subcontract RFQs for various civil & building Works as per subcontracting strategy.
8. Evaluate quotations, hold clarifications with subcontractor, benchmarking of Subcontract prices/ analyze, negotiate with Subcontractors and finalize the Subcontract Costs.
9. coordinate with various departments for technical and cost inputs.
10. contribute in constructability reviews
11. Risk identification and prepare mitigation plans for the discipline.
12. Time schedule analysis and advice planning team on time schedule preparation
13. Compilation of complete discipline costs for review by discipline lead and proposal manager
14. Prepare Benchmarking comparison / analysis of costs and various work rates with respect to market rates and past data.
15. Maintain Cost database of executed projects and bids. 1. Degree in Engineering/ Diploma/ PG. (Civil)
2. 5 -10 year of prior experience in construction in Onshore Oil & Gas Projects.
3. Experience in cost estimation & proposals is preferred.
4. Preferred with experience in executing the Projects.
5. Preferred with international Project experience.
6. Good command of English both written & Spoken.
7. Strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to clearly convey the recommendations clearly and concisely to the Project team and the Management.
8. Ability to work with fast changing requirements.
