Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and Cleanroom projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mechanical systems, cleanroom technology, and the ability to accurately estimate project costs.
- The Estimation Engineer will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, contributing to the development of competitive and comprehensive project proposals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- They possess a blend of sales ability and technical knowledge that enables them to determine client needs, spec out complex technical systems, and ensure that pricing meets the needs of both their employers expected profit margins and the client s budget.
- Review preliminary data and deliverables such as proposal specifications and drawings for cleanroom design.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate before a cleanroom project sets off.
- Perform research on new cleanroom products to support estimates for cleanroom design and construction.
- Utilize subcontractor or vendor cost and proposal data to support estimates for cleanroom projects.
- Evaluate and incorporate historical data from past cleanroom projects, subcontracts, and productivity analysis reports into unit and man-hour figures to support the estimates for a cleanroom project.
- Interface with other contractors to provide engineering and cost data to support the bid or proposal.
- Develop cost estimates for an entire project; calculate the complete take-off of the scope of work and aid contract handoff to Project Managers/Operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering,, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer in HVAC and cleanroom projects.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom technology, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
