Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically within the niche of empty capsule sales. The ideal candidate will bring 12 years of B2B sales experience, demonstrating strategic thinking, leadership skills, and an extensive understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
Industries: Empty Capsule Only.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Devise and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the empty capsules segment.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges, adapting strategies accordingly.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, emphasizing individual and collective success.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
4. Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's footprint in the empty capsules market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and other strategic partners.
5. Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay current on industry trends, product developments, and competitors to provide informed guidance to the sales team.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge and selling skills.
6. Sales Performance Analysis:
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide detailed and insightful reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and recommending future strategies.
7. Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharma/Chemical/Business Administration or a related field and A Masters in Sales and Marketing.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with a focus on pharmaceutical products, particularly empty capsules.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Good in CRM and sales force.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and the empty capsules market.
- Ability to travel minimum 10+ days and as required.
