Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business needs, analyzing processes, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders and development teams. The role involves deep business understanding , gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, and recommending solutions to optimize operations and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirement Gathering & Analysis

- Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.

- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:

- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement.

- Recommend solutions that align with business goals and objectives.

Documentation:

- Develop and maintain detailed requirement documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).

- Create user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and data models.

Collaboration:

- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, business units, and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs.

- Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Testing & Validation:

- Support testing efforts by validating that the developed solutions meet the business requirements.

- Assist in creating test cases and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Project Support:

- Support project management activities, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.

- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for delivered solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Business, ( Bachelors degree in Information Technology a plus ).

- 2-4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar position.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.

- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, or similar tools).

- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations or practices (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail, etc.) is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.

- Agile Business Analyst certification (optional, but advantageous).
