Job Description
Description:
Position Title: Junior Business Analyst
Location: Chennai
Experience: 0 2 years
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Assist in creating user stories, use cases, and process workflows.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
Product Development Support:
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented effectively.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and continuous communication with internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide updates and documentation on project status.
Testing and Validation:
- Assist in functional and user acceptance testing to validate that the solutions meet business needs.
- Identify, document, and report issues or bugs during the testing phase.
Process Improvement:
- Propose process improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 2 years in a business analysis role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and B2B workflows.
- Experience working with APIs or technical documentation.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
