Product Manager

SUMMARY & JOB DESCRIPTION: - Product manager Chemicals plays a key role on our Marketing team by managing, optimizing, and growing our product lines in accordance with the company's vison and strategic plans. Having Chemistry and Science work experience and Process understanding in Chemical / Petrochemical Industry will have an added advantage.

As a Product Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Developing long-range product strategies and guiding fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of the product platform.
   
2. Analyze sales results and market information pertaining to product lines and provide workflow and direction to marketing team to build marketing and campaign strategies.
   
3. Strong exposure of new product development of specialty chemicals (like refinery, production, drilling, lubricants etc.) along with scaling up the production planning.
   
4. Identify and build product marketing strategy for growing sales based on industry and global trends.
   
5. Responsible for the selection and design of equipment; the plant layout; materials handling; and production planning (including demand forecasting, production scheduling and ordering of material) and meeting production targets.
   
6. Exposure to TQM/ISO concept will be an added advantage.
   
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for specialty chemicals.
   
8. Manage product development projects from concept to commercialization.

9. Day-to-day management of products and maintaining cross-functional relationships with

internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D/Product Development.

REQUIREMENTS: -

• An Engineering degree into Chemical, Chemistry or Petroleum or Masters in Chemical preferred. (Male candidate preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of industry or relevant market experience, preferably in above portfolio.
• Knowledge of the chemical industry especially (refinery, drilling, production, lubricants & other specialty chemicals), including an understanding of different products and their applications.
• Sales, marketing, or another commercial functional knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent hands-on experience on troubleshooting on failure, its remedies and alteration.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Presentation abilities / soft skill.
• Ability to travel, including domestically & internationally.
