Manager/DGM Sales

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our chemical portfolio.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, suppliers, and end-users.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and campaigns.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Negotiate and close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, and having a MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in Specialty, Fine chemical, API Intermediate sales, with at least 3 years of pharma intermediate, fine and specialty chemical sales experience in current role.
• Strong understanding of the chemical market, including key players, trends, and opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
