About EG:
- The Economic Growth Advisory team is part of KPMG Government & Public Sector practice.
- Bringing in fresh investments is the key to India's sustainable and inclusive growth.
- While most attention is focused on the central government, India's state governments are also vying for investments to ensure economic development in their states.
- KPMG in India has been at the helm driving collaborations with multiple state governments by providing strategic guidance to facilitate and accelerate investments.
- We work at the intersection of government and private sector for collaboration with various governments to explore avenues for job creation and help create an enabling business environment.
- We follow a transformational approach towards job creation by leveraging strategic interventions across domains for facilitating investments, promoting trade and, encouraging entrepreneurship, thereby developing a conducive ecosystem for large industries, SMEs and startups to thrive.
- As a part of EG, we support government clients on the engagement delivery across the sectors within Ministries / Departments and States.
- EG team is seeking an experienced professional with exceptional interpersonal and technical skills that may include data analysis and understanding of economics.
- The candidate should be able to drive and support the agenda of Economic Development Advisory practice of the firm both in India and the select regions
Must Skills:
- Strategy Making
- Articulative and Narrative PPT making.
- Research
Education:
- Should have Post graduate degree (from a premier institute) with a good academic background
Qualification:
- Should have 10+ years / 15+ years of work experience, preferably with the Government at State/Central level with exposure in trade/economics, data analysis, Investment & Trade Promotion / Facilitation
- Should have worked in assignments with various Government / private sector / multi-lateral clients.
- Should be able to drive key accounts / clients be able to assess competitive footprint.
- Should be able to recommend new solutions that should be taken to clients based on emerging trends
- Should be able to network with internal and external stakeholders, industry professionals and be on top of the sector performance in India and globally and bring insights and perspectives
- Should be good at report writing, working on excel and PowerPoint presentations with excellent communication skills.
- Should possess Strategic and innovative mindset, Collaborative and relationship building attitude to work with teams
- Should possess excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Should be able to drive wide variety of initiatives and manage their progress with detail orientation.
- Should be able to foresee project risks and manage them proactively
- Should be willing to travel as per the business requirements
- Should be in excellent Team management and have capability to manage tight timelines
