Job Summary:
The HR Statutory Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements. This role involves monitoring compliance across various HR functions, managing legal documentation, vendor agreements and implementing necessary changes to align with evolving legal standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment laws and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Management:
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws and regulations.
- Regularly review and update company policies and procedures to maintain compliance with new and existing legislation.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and update policies and respective stakeholders accordingly.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of compliance-related documents, including employee contracts, payroll records, and safety reports.
- Compile and submit required reports to respective stakeholders and vendors.
- Manage and respond to audits from external agencies and internal auditors.
3. Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance to HR staff and management on compliance-related issues.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns related to statutory benefits and compliance issues.
- Assist in resolving any disputes related to compliance matters.
- Develop and maintain documents related to statutory compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in employment law and best practices through professional development and industry resources.
4. Audits and Inspections:
- Prepare for and manage internal and external audits related to compliance
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and recommendations
5. Policy Development:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure they meet legal standards.
- Review and revise employee handbooks and compliance documentation as needed.
