Role : Compliance Manager

Location : Mumbai (Andheri - Marol)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Compliance Executive with a strong background in

fintech, Lending , Insurance to oversee and manage compliance activities within the

organization. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, financial

products, and the compliance challenges faced by fintech companies. The ideal candidate will

have at least 5+ years of core compliance experience, a fintech background, and a diploma

in compliance or a degree in labor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Labour Laws Compliance under various Acts as applicable to the clients.

• Handling / preparing monthly Compliance under the following Acts: PF /ESIC /PT

/LWF.

• All Compliance clients: Annual/ Quarterly /monthly Returns to be filed on time.

• In house, all statutory returns to be filed on timely basis, with help of HR & amp; Payroll

team.

• License renewal / amendment/returns.

• Handling in-house inspection / notices.

• Liaising with Govt. Authorities

• Obtaining licenses /registrations through portals

• Should be dealing into states compliances.

• Apart from PF /ESIC /PT /MLWF, Should be having other Acts compliances

knowledge as well.

• Able to file annual returns under specific Acts & for states.

• Should be handling challans submissions.

• Able to do maintenance of any registers such as Shop and establishment / Factory -

• Able to Handle activities like Licensing and registration, Health license, factory

license, Shop and Establishment License etc.

• Knowledge of Contract labor act.

• Should be handled government portals pertaining to registrations / licenses.

• Dealing with clients w.r.t. to compliance issues /guidance on any act.

• Able to handle any notice or hearing part.

• Able to represent any notice or hearing in front of the Govt Authorities, along with

document preparation.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of core compliance experience, with at least 3+

years in a fintech environment. Strong familiarity with fintech regulations, financial

products, and industry-specific compliance challenges is essential.

Education: A diploma in compliance or a degree in labor compliance, or equivalent

legal qualifications.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, AML/KYC policies, data

privacy, and consumer protection laws.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies and processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A graduate degree from a reputable university, along with a Diploma or Degree in

Compliance, or an MBA (preferably with a focus on compliance or regulatory affairs).

• Proven experience working with Mumbai-based regulatory bodies and collaborating

with external auditors.

• A strong background in legal or risk management, particularly within the fintech

sector.
