Job description
Key Responsibilities :
• Collect and verify timekeeping information and attendance records for all employees.
• Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions based on company policies and applicable laws.
• Process payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner using payroll software.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports, in a timely
manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, wages, and deductions.
• Generate payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters, including pay discrepancies,
deductions, and tax withholding.
• Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll processes and policies.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll audits by providing documentation and supporting evidence
as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to payroll processes.
Qualifications and Skills :
• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with minimum
5-7 years of experience.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
