Role & responsibilities

Position: Network Engineer L1

Experience: 1-2.5 Yrs

Location: Gurugram

Job Description is below-

- Experience between 1year to 2 years.

- Good Knowledge of networks & related issues troubleshooting.

- Must have good Communication Skills.

- Provide onsite support to clients.

- Hands-on experience on Cisco routers and Switches, Firewall and wireless.

- Dealing with network connectivity LAN and WAN

- Should have experience in Communicating and documenting incidents to include cause, action, and solution as well as root cause analysis.

- Knowledge in router and switches hardening for secure network infrastructure.

- LAN configuration- STP, RSTP, MSTP, Vlans, VTP, Trunks, Ether-channels, High availability, Port Security and physical layer troubleshooting etc.

- Checking logs of routers and switches for troubleshooting network issues.

- Routing Protocols Static/Default routing, OSPF, EIGRP.

- Configuring and installing network devices

- Hands on troubleshooting experience in Enterprise LAN and WAN environment.

- Knowledge of DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, Dynamic ARP Inspection ,VLAN Hoping, VLAN ACL, Protected port, Private VLAN, Storm control, Span and Port based security) Backup, Update and IOS upgrade.
