Key Responsibilities:
Presales Leadership:
- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and understand client requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive and lead end-to-end presales activities, including solution design, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Create compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical and commercial proposals.
Solution Design and Strategy:
- Develop tailored solutions that address client challenges while maintaining feasibility and profitability.
- Design technical architecture and workflows, ensuring alignment with client environments and goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to align solutions with business strategies.
Market and Product Expertise:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the organization's products and services to create value-driven solutions.
Team Development and Enablement:
- Mentor and guide junior presales team members in technical and strategic engagements.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, conducting training sessions for the sales and technical teams.
Sales Enablement:
- Support deal qualification and pipeline management to prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Facilitate smooth transitions from presales to implementation teams for successful project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or related roles.
- Proven success in managing large-scale deals and building strong client relationships.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in technologies like cloud computing, SaaS, AI, and digital transformation.
- Proficiency in designing technical architectures and documenting workflows.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e., AWS, Salesforce, Commerce tools).
- Industry-specific experience (e., banking, retail, healthcare) to offer customized solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Conversion rates of presales engagements to closed deals.
- Timeliness and quality of RFP/RFI responses.
- Client satisfaction scores during and after the sales cycle.
- Knowledge-sharing initiatives and enablement metrics for the sales team
