Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Pre-Sales Manager to drive the technical and business aspects of our pre-sales activities.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with sales teams, clients, and technical teams to design tailored solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations, and ensure customer needs are fully addressed.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to analyze client requirements and design customized solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and other pre-sales documentation.
Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept sessions, and technical workshops to showcase value propositions.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop go-to-market strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between client needs and product offerings.
Market and Industry Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to provide strategic input.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve products and services based on market demands.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior pre-sales team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Manage pre-sales activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals and presentations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or solution architecture.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful technical proposals and solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of [specific industry/technology relevant to the role, e., IT, cloud, AI, etc.
- Experience with tools and technologies relevant to the company's offerings.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications in [specific tools/technologies relevant to the role].
- Experience working with international clients or in cross-functional global teams.
