Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
1.Managing Industrial Peace & Harmony in the plant
1.1.Coordination between union and management for all discussions grievance redressal, negotiation and escalations
1.2.Coordinate and carry out employees grievances redressal on various matters
1.3.Ensuring discipline inside the plant
1.4.Undertake incident conducting investigations including preparing investigative plans ans conducting investigative interviews.
1.5.Drafting & Implementation of disciplinary actions
2.Managing training sessions on Industrial Relations:
2.1.Designing and conduction training on industrial relations for the while collar as well as blue collar employees
2.2.Exercising control and ensuring statutory compliance of entrusted area
2.3. Ensure compliance under various labour and industrial acts
2.4. Managing labour contractors, ensuring their statutory compliances & industrial and labour acts
3.Coordination And Liasoning with statutory bodies and advocates:
3.1 Research past arbitration decisions and grievances and analyzes their effect on pending negotiations
3.2 Keep informed as up-to-date on changes to labour laws, arbitration decision that may affect union management relation.
3.3 To enforce latest amendments & negotiation according to the law
4.Collective Bargaining
4.1 Benchmarking of salary/ wages/ Union settlements according to industry cum regional norms.
5.Management and control employee engagement
5.1.Implementation of various initiatives for employee engagement and analysing the before/ after impacts.
5.2.Ensuring end to end execution of annual employee engagement as per the guidkines provided by corporate HR. Encouraging maximum participation of employee in the survey.
6.Conceptualizing and managing employee relation/ employee welfare
6.1.Measuring effectiveness of ERC meetings for assigned shop.
6.2.Ensuring various statutory measures as per the guidelines of central employees realations cell.
6.3.Maintaining amicable work environment at plant level and shop floor discipline.
6.4.Establishing ans implementing systems for redressal of the day grievances of employees.
6.5.Close interactions with central ER cell for the resolving deciplinary cases and taking disciplinary actions.
6.6.Conducting and monitoring domestics enquires.
6.7.Creating the backups for labour court cases.
7.Defining strategy for flexible manpower
7.1.Initiating, conceptualization and finalization on the flexible manpower strategy along with stakeholders for the shop.
8.Managing absenteeism of blue collar employees
8.1. Managing process for monitoring the absenteeism of blue collar employees.
8.2. Taking deciplinary actions against absenteeism cases as per the company guidelines.
9.Managing policy implementation
9.1.Human resource and employee relation ploicies.
9.2.Addressing employee queries related for policies.
10.Co-ordination with HRCs for shop floor activities
11.Monitoring and controlling functioning of statutory compliance cell
Qualification: Post graduate with Masters in Human resources or relevant qualification with relevant experience.
Experience: 10 years
