Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Klene Paks Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with a focus on maintenance and troubleshooting. This role will involve overseeing electrical equipment across multiple units, ensuring systems run efficiently, and implementing necessary repairs and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including motors, AC drives/VFDs, transformers, and electrical panels.

Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of electrical panel systems.

Work with switchgears and ensure the proper functioning of electrical switchboards.

Design and update Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for various electrical systems.

Perform root cause analysis of electrical issues and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime.

Provide support for electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects across various units.

Lead or participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during electrical operations and maintenance.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify potential electrical hazards.

Travel to other units (approximately 60% of the time) to oversee electrical systems and provide on-site support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BE).

5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance engineering, with a focus on industrial environments.

Strong expertise in electrical motors, AC drives/VFD, transformers, and switchgears.

Experience in electrical panel design and installation.

In-depth knowledge of Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical system schematics.

Familiarity with various electrical equipment and their maintenance protocols.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel 60% of the time to support multiple units.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automation systems and control systems.

Knowledge of energy management and efficiency optimization techniques.

Familiarity with electrical system standards and compliance regulations.
