Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our GFRP manufacturing facility's electrical systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in industrial electrical engineering, with a focus on automation and process control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for our GFRP manufacturing processes
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and control systems
• Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency
• Ensure compliance with Indian electrical codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize electrical systems for manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion
• Conduct energy audits and implement energy-saving measures
• Train and mentor junior electrical staff
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech/M.E. preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, preferably in manufacturing settings
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation
• Experience with high voltage systems and power distribution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software
• Familiarity with energy management systems and practices
• Up-to-date knowledge of Indian electrical codes and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Skills

• Experience in composite materials manufacturing (e.g., GFRP, CFRP, aramid, or other advanced composites)
• Familiarity with common composite production processes such as pultrusion, filament winding, resin transfer molding (RTM), or compression molding
• Knowledge of electrical systems and automation in composite manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with industry standards relevant to composite manufacturing (e.g., ASTM, ISO)
• Background in implementing energy-efficient processes in composite or similar manufacturing settings
• Experience with electrical safety protocols in environments involving resins, fibers, and other composite materials
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in composite manufacturing
