Kissht - Database Developer (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Database Developer cum DBA with expertise in NoSQL databases to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our NoSQL database systems, primarily using MongoDB.

You will collaborate closely with developers to support application needs, maintain database performance, and ensure the integrity and security of the data infrastructure.

Technical Skills :

- Familiarity with various NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB,DynamoDB,Couchbase).

- Understanding of database concepts like CAP theorem, data modeling, and consistency models.

- Skills in designing schemas suitable for NoSQL systems, including denormalization strategies.

- Proficiency in the query languages specific to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB's query language).

- Experience with cloud-based NoSQL or distributed database offerings (e.g., AWS DynamoDB, ScyllaDB,

CockroachDB, YugabyteDB ).

- Ability to analyse data requirements and design efficient data storage solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity.

Skills & Expertise :

- 4-8 years of experience working with NoSQL databases and large-scale data architectures.

- Experience in managing and optimizing database performance in production environments.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

- Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Willingness to stay current with new NoSQL technologies, trends, and best practices
