Onemi Technology Solutions - SQL Developer - ETL/Data Warehousing (4-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

- Develop and implement efficient data pipelines using ETL/ELT methodologies.

- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) into data warehouses.

- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline process.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs.

- Document data pipelines and processes clearly and concisely.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SQL, data warehousing, and data pipeline technologies.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of professional experience as an SQL Developer.

- Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced SQL concepts such as window functions, subqueries, and common table expressions.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.

- Experience with data modeling and database design.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g , Python, Shell) is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g , AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with data quality assessment and data profiling tools.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
