Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Banking & Payments Management Handling net banking transactions, ATM withdrawals, bank deposits, and internal fund transfers.
2. Accounts Payable & Vendor Reconciliation Processing payments, verifying vendor dues, validating vendor payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.
3. Expense & Cash Management Tracking day-to-day financial transactions, Managing petty cash, Daily expenses, Payments and Receipts.
4. Journal & Ledger Maintenance Posting journal vouchers, credit notes, and Payment & Receipts entries in Tally while ensuring accuracy in ledgers.
5. Reconciliation & Compliance – Preparing bank reconciliation statements, reconciling ledgers especially Tour Advances etc., and Reconciliation of GSTR Returns with ITC, GSTR2A & GSTR2B etc.,
6. Financial & Management Reporting Statements – Preparing financial reports, cash flow statements, expected revenue reports, and maintaining financial records, MIS reports and providing insights for better decision-making.
7. Audit & Compliance Support – Assisting internal and statutory auditors, validating GST & TDS returns, and maintaining compliance with 26AS.
8. Taxation & Statutory Filings – Filing GST and TDS returns, validating government fees, and ensuring proper tax reconciliation.
9. Financial Controls & Validation – Verifying bills, payments, receipts, and ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly report accuracy.
10. Budgeting & Fund Management – Overseeing fund management, cash flow planning, and ensuring financial stability of assigned entities.
11. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight – Ensuring all transactions comply with financial regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce (B.Com), or related field.
• Master’s degree (M.Com, MBA in Finance) or professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, ACCA) preferred.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience in Tally, ERP software, and MS Excel is essential.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reconciliation processes.
• Prior experience in audit support, vendor reconciliation, and financial reporting is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for working with vendors, auditors, and internal teams.
