Job Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager based out of Surat to lead the growth and optimization of our e-commerce platform, KGKDiamonds.com, and its mobile app. This role involves leveraging analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvements. Once the candidate successfully manages the platform and its growth, they will also contribute to adjacent software projects, such as a bidding platform for rough diamonds and our ERP system.

This is a highly ownership-oriented role. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining KPIs for each month, presenting results to their team and stakeholders, and analyzing what went well, what didnt, and what improvements are planned for the upcoming month. They will be accountable for taking the product to the next level, ensuring high team morale, and even participating in hiring when necessary.

The Product Manager will report to the CTO and CGO. Over time, the focus of this role will gradually shift towards managing and improving the ERP system or other KGK software projects.

Key Responsibilities:

New Feature Planning

• Gather ideas and feedback from stakeholders, including CRM, design, sales, marketing, and tech teams.
• Align stakeholders to ensure clarity on objectives and execution timelines.
• Own the creation of PRD (Product Requirement Documents) with input from the tech team.
• Collaborate with product marketing to define go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new features.
• Conduct user research and interviews, collect feedback, and refine the product roadmap accordingly.

Sales & User Queries Management

• Act as the primary POC for sales queries, categorizing them based on priority.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve product-related queries effectively.
• Keep the sales team updated on all the latest updates on the product.
• Identify trends in sales queries and suggest potential product improvements.

Sales Process Improvements

• Partner with the sales team to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct quarterly audits on sales workflows and recommend optimizations.

Sprint Planning & Execution

• Own sprint planning, ensuring high-priority bug fixes and new feature development are accounted for.
• Work with the Tech Lead to get the timelines for the tasks before the task is started.
• Maintain visibility into upcoming sprints and communicate any changes proactively.
• Ensure that designs are completed and approved before development begins.
• Review sprint scope and deliverables two days before each sprint starts.
• Ensure all tickets are accurately documented in Jira.

Stakeholder Communication

• Keep stakeholders informed of major developments and updates.
• Maintain Jira boards and ensure all tasks are properly documented and tracked.

Data & Dashboard Management

• Provide dashboard requirements to the data team for new reports.
• Work with the data team to edit and refine existing dashboards as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a product-driven environment.
• 1+ year of experience as a Product Manager handling feature planning and execution.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Ability to analyze data, collect insights, and translate them into actionable product decisions.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or e-commerce products is a plus.
