QC Engineer - 4+Years - Coimbatore

Job Overview:

We are looking for a QC Engineer with 4+ years of experience in web application and REST API testing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in manual testing, API validation, defect tracking, and Agile methodologies. Experience with automation testing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain test cases to ensure full test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web applications.
• Conduct REST API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured to validate requests, responses, status codes, and data integrity.
• Log and track defects in JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.
• Analyze requirements to identify gaps and ambiguities early in the development cycle.
• Ensure high-quality standards before product deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Experience: 4+ years in QC/testing for web applications and REST APIs.
✅ Manual Testing: Strong expertise in functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
✅ API Testing: Hands-on experience with Postman and Rest Assured for REST API validation.
✅ Test Management & Defect Tracking: Experience using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
✅ Agile Methodology: Experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams.
✅ Certification: ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (Preferred).

Nice to Have:

🔹 Automation Testing: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
🔹 Database Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
