Purchase Executive - 3rd Party Manufactured Products

Role & responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop strong relationships with third-party manufacturers and suppliers. Ensure that vendors meet company standards and compliance requirements.
• Procurement: Plan, coordinate, and place purchase orders for third-party manufactured products according to the companys requirements. Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery.
• Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and efficient procurement.
• Inventory Management: Work with the inventory team to track product levels and ensure the timely reordering of products. Avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that products meet all specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements before being accepted.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and other relevant documentation. Ensure all procurement activities are in line with company policies and procedures.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, new suppliers, and potential risks in the supply chain to ensure optimal procurement strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular procurement reports, highlighting key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in third-party manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
• Experience with SAP and procurement management systems.
