Key Account Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing partnerships.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead the sales process, including needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Develop and champion compelling value propositions that resonate with educational institutions.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at educational institutions (administrators, financial aid officers).
- Act as the primary point of contact for all partner-related inquiries.
Revenue Generation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to activate partnerships and maximize revenue generation.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnerships.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Accurately forecast sales revenue and track progress against targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management.
Team Leadership (if applicable):
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team to support regional growth.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA or undergraduate degree preferred, but strong experience and a proven track record can be considered.
Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the education sector or related industries (fintech, SaaS, education technology).
- Experience in managing and exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and other relevant tools.
