Linen Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of our Linen Department
• Receive records and oversee sorting of clean uniforms from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.
• Ensure that linen and uniforms are properly stored and recorded.
• Responsible for assuring an adequate quantity of linen is maintained throughout the hospital by restocking and delivering clean linen to all parts of the hospital
• Take items of clothing or linen from wards and other patient areas
• Deliver clean linen to wards. sort linen ready for cleaning or washing.
• Sorting, assembling, and wrapping linen packs and restocking as needed.
• Ensure all Linen processes meet quality and hygiene standards.
• Ensure a clean and tidy linen room at all times and report to the management if any items have been damaged (linen as well as uniforms).
