About The Role :

Ensure to maintain all laundry machines, equipment & chemicals and detergents required to wash the laundry.

Sort laundry items by kind, color and heavy soiled, medium soiled, light soiled and separate dry cleaning from laundry items.

Check linen/ uniforms for damage, stains etc, and ensure to inform the Laundry Supervisor about the defects noted.

Load proper number of items and quantity or weight into washing machines, add detergents or chemicals as required and ensure to operate the machine carefully.

Ensure to remove stains from the items using the proper stain removers and according to the standard procedures.

Examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness.

Ensure that all the Standard Operating Procedures set for the department are followed.

Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by Management.
