Assistant Manager- Food & Beverage (F&B)

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate meal service for hospital staff, visitors, and special events, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Develop menus for hospital staff, visitors, and events, considering a variety of dietary restrictions, preferences, and cultural considerations.
• Schedule shifts and manage staffing to meet hospital demands, including high patient census periods.
• Oversee food and beverage inventory, ensuring that supplies are ordered in a timely manner and are cost-effective.
• Maintain proper storage of food, ensuring that items are fresh, safe, and compliant with health regulations.
• Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and hospital policies regarding sanitation, food handling, and meal preparation.
• Manage the food and beverage budget, keeping expenses in line with hospital financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, food safety laws, and hospital policies.
• Participate in hospital audits and inspections, ensuring the kitchen and food service areas meet or exceed standards.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, dietary requirements, and nutritional principles.
