Network Engineer II - CCIE/CCNP Certified (4-8 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

- Network Infrastructure Engineering : Design, deploy, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructure.

- Monitoring and Health Checks : Implement observability, reporting, and health assessment procedures for network infrastructure.

- Incident Management : Collaborate on resolving network-related incidents, ensuring comprehensive reporting and tracking.

- Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive network infrastructure policies, procedures, and documentation.

- Team Collaboration : Work closely with internal and external teams to optimize network performance and reliability.

- Support and Escalation : Assist with escalated incidents and participate in an on-call rotation as required.

- Process Adherence : Strictly adhere to team and organizational processes and procedures.

- Industry Awareness : Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in both on-premises and cloud networking.

- Network Expertise : Five or more years of experience in enterprise-scale network infrastructure support.

- Cloud Proficiency : Minimum of two years of experience managing network infrastructure in major cloud environments.

- Automation Skills : Minimum of two years utilizing network automation, scripting, and network-as-code tools.

- Observability : Five or more years of experience in observability of network infrastructure.

- Technical Competencies : Proficiency in dynamic routing, load balancing, network access control, proxy, VPN, wireless, and zone-based firewall.

- Agile/Scrum : Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Certifications : Cisco CCNP certification is required; Cisco CCIE certification is strongly preferred.

- Education: bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technology field, or equivalent work experience.

Education And Certification Required :

- Valid Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification.

- Five or more years of experience working with Palo Alto.

- Five or more years of experience working with Cisco routers/switches.

- Two or more years of experience working with Cisco Meraki.

- Five or more years of experience working with F5 and load balancers.

- Five or more years of experience working with VPN connectivity.
