Manager - Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing (10-18 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Set the right direction for the team and leads by example based out of Bangalore.

- Hire the right talent & manage the team's performance

- Define testing strategy for Company products.

- Drive improvements in test coverage based on live site feedback and characterization of patterns of issues in the product

- Inculcate a culture of efficiency to enable technology and automation as a catalyst for quality and repeatability at scale

- Be hands-on with technology stack, test automation frameworks, and tools used by the team and can lead by example.

- Plan and undertake end-to-end test activities such as test effort estimation, test script development, test automation, test execution & defects management

- Works closely with architects and peer leaders in development to validate non-functional requirements of the product at scale

- Understand the big picture & impact of day-to-day decisions on business, product & the customers

- Motivate, inspire, recognize & reward good performance

- Actively engage with the team and help build their career path

You should apply if you :

- Have worked on developing tools or frameworks to test complex micro-services, client applications, and systems at scale

- Have 4+ years of experience managing SDET teams.

- Have experience in industry best practices in development processes

- Have the ability to communicate and manage stakeholders effectively

- Automation: Exposure to scripting languages - Python, Perl, or programming languages like C/C++/Java and Testing frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber

- Strong analytical / problem-solving skill
