Role & responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in labor legislation and industry standards.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals.
- Design and execute employee training and development programs to enhance skills and productivity.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, compensation, and benefits information.
- Handle employee relations, addressing and resolving workplace conflicts or issues.
- Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Oversee compensation and payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement employee recognition and rewards programs.
- Oversee employee wellness and safety initiatives to promote a healthy workplace environment.
- Address employee complaints and grievances effectively, providing resolution and support.
- Offer HR guidance to managers and employees on various workplace matters.
- Negotiate and manage labor contracts and collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives and improve HR processes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in HR management to enhance processes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and employee unions.
Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates to ensure they align with organizational needs and culture.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs for employees.
- Facilitate employee development through workshops, seminars, and online courses.
- Support career development planning and succession planning for employees.
Legal Compliance:
- Stay informed about labor laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Provide management with guidance on legal HR matters and compliance requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing performance appraisal systems.
- Guide managers in creating performance improvement plans and handling disciplinary actions.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, conflict resolution, and fostering healthy workplace relationships.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
