We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Database Engineer to design, develop, and manage our PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database architecture, schema design, indexing, and query optimization to support business applications efficiently. They will oversee database operations, including backup and recovery, replication, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Additionally, they will collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in database design, enforce data integrity, and implement security protocols. Experience with PostgreSQL extensions, stored procedures, and cloud-based deployments is a plus.
