Purchase Manager

Job Overview: The Assistant Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for Kajaria Ceramics. They ensure that the right materials are purchased at the best possible price and in a timely manner, while maintaining quality standards and ensuring that all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and procedures. The role requires strong negotiation, management, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to maintain vendor relationships and track inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing purchase orders of all packing materials, glaze/Frits, spares, Civil Items (structural steel, cement &TMT), lubricants and Fuels of NCR Plants (Gailpur, Sikandrabad & Malutana Plant).
• Interact with transporters for follow up and timely delivery of above items to aforesaid all 4 plants.
• Should be fully conversant with SAP for all transactions from Procure to Pay.
• Interaction with plants, user department and suppliers for all the queries, technical specifications, and clarifications required for the Indent received.
• Obtaining monthly quotations and preparing price comparative chart.

All other related jobs as given by plants & HOD from time to time.

• MBA in Operation Management (Preferable)
