Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical People Manager to lead and mentor our engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent leadership and people management skills.
You will be responsible for driving team performance, career development, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Drive team engagement and performance through regular feedback and coaching.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight on projects, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and roadmaps.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide the team effectively.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews to track individual progress.
- Develop career paths and growth opportunities for team members.
- Facilitate training and skill development initiatives.
- Work closely with leadership to align team objectives with business goals.
- Identify and address technical and organizational challenges proactively.
- Contribute to resource planning and hiring efforts to scale the team effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Manage expectations and ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical leadership and people management roles.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, or infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern software development frameworks.
- Certifications in leadership, Agile, or project management (e.g, PMP, CSM, SAFe).
- Previous experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment.
