Purpose of the Job:

The Assistant Manager - Logistics will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. This individual role focuses on optimizing logistics processes, cost management, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations Management:

• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor order progress and prepare detailed summary reports.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Act as the primary point of contact between sales teams, service centers, and transporters.
• Facilitate smooth communication and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to align logistics priorities with business requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Develop and track key logistics metrics such as on-time delivery rates and transit times.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders.

Cost Optimization and Delivery Innovation:

• Analyze logistics costs to identify opportunities for savings without compromising service quality.
• Implement innovative delivery models and negotiate cost-effective contracts with transporters.

Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate and improve existing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging logistics technologies.

Who Can Apply:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in a B2C/B2B operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement efficient processes and workflows.
• Proficiency in logistics software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of delivery models and transportation management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. A Master's degree in logistics or operations management is a plus​
